It's Time to Play With Your Food!

The simple joy of playing with your food
When you were a kid, did your parents ever tell you it wasn’t nice to play with your food? Well now you can feel free to Play With Your Food and not get in trouble for doing so!

JIB Productions, a not-for-profit group that brings exciting performing and visual arts programs to Fairfield County, CT, is now in its tenth season of bringing you “Play With Your Food,” a program pairing short play readings with buffet lunches in Greenwich, Fairfield and Westport.

The one-act plays are read by professional actors, the buffet lunches are catered by local restaurants and there’s even an opportunity for discussion after the play with the actors. Shows are held during the day from noon until one-thirty in the afternoon and prices are $43 ($40 for GAC Members).

Unfortunately, the Greenwich readings for April 18 and 19, held at the Greenwich Arts Council, 299 Greenwich Avenue, are sold out.

However, as of this writing (3/31/12) tickets are still be available on April 12th for the Westport reading of “Pygmalion,” “Misreadings,” and “Bottom of the Ninth” at Toquet Hall, 62 Post Road, Westport. Lunch will be provided by Garelick and Herbs.

Play With Your Food – Fairfield at Fairfield Theater Company, 70 Sanford Street, also has single tickets available as of this writing (3/31/12)  for April 3 readings of “Pygmalion,” “Misreadings,” and “Bottom of the Ninth”. Lunch will be provided by The Pantry.

For more information and to order tickets, visit JIB Productions website or call 203-293-8831.
