Bar Rosso Finally Opens in Stamford, CT

While the opening of a restaurant in Stamford, CT may not seem like such a big deal to those outside a 50 mile radius of the town, to those of us who live within spitting distance, well, it may not be that big of a deal, but we Stamford residents love our food. And when a restaurateur the likes of Mary Schaeffer, who already has a success under her belt with the highly popular and successful Napa & Co., decides to open an eatery, people tend to sit up and take notice.

Schaeffer's newest venture, Bar Rosso, recently opened in downtown Stamford and it is generating a great deal of buzz. The restaurant will be serving their interpretative take on Italian cuisine. While I have yet to dine at Bar Rosso, it is on my list of places to visit.
